It is fun to watch the water activites below. Pelicans
fly by, yachts sail on their way to Buck Island,
kiteboarders practice their skills, fisherman hurry by with
their catch, kayaks head for the reef. There is always
something happening from our "room with a view". |

Hiking is fun on the island. Here is a reef view towards

Various forms of cacti are seen. Most people find
it interesting that a tropical island often also has cactus. |

The beaches are beautiful and uncrowded. Sometimes
we have been the only boat there! |
And of course, another reason to visit Buck Island is to
snorkel in the reef, which has a marked underwater trail to follow. |
