Snorkeling, Swimming and Scuba Diving
| The beaches of St. Croix are numerous, and
snorkeling and diving spots are plentiful. This
swimming beach is uncrowded and less than a mile from our bed and
breakfast. The sea is warm, and the reef protects from
most wave activity. |

Scuba Diving & Certification
There are many companies which provide scuba dives.
Dive Experience is one of the several companies in
Christiansted. They have daily dive trips, dive
packages, and equipment rental. If you have always
wanted to learn to scuba they have introductory dives with
training to just try it. They are a PADI dive company
and in just 3 days you can get an Open Water Certification
if you are serious! |

Snorkeling
It is fun to just take your snorkel and mask down to the
dock and take a short swim. During snorkeling there
are often lobsters, butterfly fish, blue tang and many other
interesting creatures below.
St. Croix is surrounded by reefs, and most beaches have a
reef nearby you can access to snorkel. |
 |
| Cane Bay is a beautiful beach. Nearby is
a restaurant for lunch, snorkeling and coral to view, and
some beautiful sand for sunning. If you don't want to
sun, there are some palm trees for shade. It is also a
popular scuba site and several companies offer wall dives. |
